Criminal justice system Citizenship / PSHE full lesson resource. This criminal justice system lesson looks at what will happen if the police suspects someone of a crime, where to find information on your rights in relation to the law, the difference between civil and criminal law, different types of courts and the advantages and disadvantages of a trial with a jury.

This is an easy to follow power point lesson. The lesson has been planned to last for about 60 minutes however it is fully editable meaning that like all of our lessons, activities could be added, removed or changed. One task requires pupils to access the internet for information. No further planning, printing or preparation is required before teaching this lesson.

No previous knowledge in this subject area is needed, the lesson is easily deliverable by someone who is not a subject specialist or an experienced Citizenship or PSHE teacher.
